Just south of Wickinnish Beach is the pebble beach known as South Beach. This image was taken in February when the cloud was heavy and the ocean was typically rough. When the waves receded, there was a cacophony of sound as the pebbles rushed seawards. This 12”x 24” picture does well in B+W and conveys the overall sense of place.
